Dave's Dance Music is Toronto's legendary Dance music radio program that originally aired on CKLN 88.1FM from 1982 with the show's creator, producer and mixing DJ, David Ahmad. The show pioneered the broadcast of Club-Style Dance Music and had a major influence on generations of professional and amateur DJs and Dance Music audiences. David retired from the show and CKLN in 2002. In 2017 he was invited to join the family at iLive Radio where he programs Classic Dance Music. He also supports emerging Deep South African House with Russell Pereira and has re-introduced Joey D with his classic Power Street Mixes to the Dance Music community. Over the years, David had the distinct pleasure of working with his co-hosts whose contribution to keeping the show's unbelievable traffic volumes (request line, announcements and a myriad of other activities) were outstanding. They are: Dani Elwell, Sarah Bartok, Paul Johnston and Mike Devine The show airs on the second Saturday of every month.
