Data Decay is a, producer, dj, promoter and music enthusiast from Ottawa, Canada. Surrounded by music for much of his life, Tim began his own journey into sound as Data Decay in 1999, and has been fueling the Psytrance fire in Ottawa and beyond for well over a decade. This Psy Addict has been Dj’ing special events with world class artists of almost every genre, and promoting his own psychedelic shows with a team of dedicated like minded people “Altered State”.
Influenced by greats such as; The Delta, Midi Miliz, Earthling, Deviant Species, Absolum, CPU, Shift, Tickets, Hysteria and many more. Data Decay, has put a lot of time into sculpting his vinyl and digital music collection into a full spectrum of psychedelic sounds.
Data Decay has a few international booking under his belt as well as playing at some of Canada’s premier summer music festivals, such as Space Gathering; Anishnabe; Natura; Alweezgrooven; and Padamonium
