Ovar, Portugal
Greetings to all Metalheads!
It's been about thirty years since the first issue of a program dedicated exclusively to heavy metal in Ovar station.
It all started in the wistful "Rádio Atlantico" (Pirate Radio) those that grew like mushrooms a little every corner of our Portugal, and later passed the "Antena Vareira" and up to the present day "AVFM". At that time contained in the programming grid program "Onda Forte", a pioneer in spreading the Metal by vareiras land. A few years later, and disputes with the direction of then, the "Onda Forte" began to be issued in the "Radio Cidade" also "Pirate", existing at that time two stations in Ovar, this last with antenna on C.C. Garrett.
