Dameri is a Rotterdam-based DJ and producer working across Afro Tech, Private School Amapiano, 3-step
and South African Deep House. He didn't arrive here by a straight line: his first years behind the decks were
spent in the kizomba scene, playing club nights and festivals in the Netherlands and internationally —
including as main DJ within the organising team behind a kizomba festival, helping manage sound, light and
equipment for the line-up. When that chapter ran its course, he made a deliberate switch — rebuilding his
sound from scratch around Afro Tech and the South African end of house music, drawing on Enoo Napa,
Thakzin, Kelvin Momo and Deep Essentials. That direction landed him wins in DJ contests run by Afro
Nation NL and Africa Rising NL, earning spots on both line-ups, followed by two bookings for Pianoland and
one for Amapiano.nl. A recent mix, Toffler Talents 2026, is out now on SoundCloud. New productions land
through his own label, Dameri Sounds.
