DallasMixr was launched by Dave Thomas, a DJ in Dallas at KFAD, KZEW, KFM, KERA, KRLD-FM, KERA-FM, KMGC AND Q102 in the 70's and 80's.

"I'd like to play a few sets that reflect on those times but sets of music I like today. So my old friends might hear underground rock, progressive country, jazz, a classical piece now & then. Trance, electronics & EDM tracks will pop up too.

What I'm most excited to do with DallasMixr is invite a few of my friends like Tim Spencer and Jim White, Phil Cook if I can find him & even Jon Dillon if he wishes to spin a tune or a tale with me. It wouldn't surprise me if Angus puts down a soul set of goodness or Sumpter Bruton jams some of his incredible blues collection one more time. If they want to guest DJ I hope Willie Nelson & Mickey Raphael picks some songs (gosh I wish Waylon were still here) Pat Metheny is welcome to bring Lyle or any o those ECM jazzers who might want to stream. Gorbett's Earth Station Radio is in the mix
