Artist: Dakey, Jemiro De Weever was
born on May 19th, 1985. Dakey was the first to
of twins to be born, then followed his sister.

As a youngster he attended the Sister Regina Primary School and would always find himself involved in school plays. It was while attending Sundial High School, (Philipsburg St. Maarten), he really found his love for music in doing a drug free song for a drug free campaign that took place, and later that year he was the first runner up for his school’s talent show.

Dakey would always find himself in his cousin’s, (Mis Master Dj Pauly), recording studio, and it was there he first heard about dancehall Iconic General Bounty Killer. Knowing his talent, he thought it was just a pipe dream for him to make it as big as artist like, Bounty Killer, Buju Banton, and Spragga Benz.
