Being in love with music his whole life, Alfonso joined the DJ scene in 1989 and became known as DJ Yogi. Intrigued by spinning records and making crowds of people dance, he taught himself how to blend and mix tracks. From listening to radio shows and numerous DJ Mixtapes, he further mastered this craft and was able to mix smoother, cut, and MC. Growing up in a predominately popular House and Hip-Hop environment, Yogi naturally embraced the culture and started DJ’ing local house parties.

Dj Yogi TransIn 1994, DJ Yogi a DJ for a local party crew that consisted of some of his close friends. Crazy Crew went on to host a few house parties in Chicago and at venues. DJ Yogi was motivated to further his DJ career and went on to make a name for himself DJ Yogi co-founded Above and Beyond Entertainment, LLC, to pursue his passion for bigger and more event planning with multiple DJ's staff making us a one-stop source for all your occasion corporate, private and wedding needs.
