Maltese by birth and spent my youth listening to reggae, starting from the age of 15 when reggae was very much in it's infancy here in the 70's and 80's. Records had to be ordered in as only Bob Marley hit records would be available to buy locally.
I moved to the UK in 1984 and started following the reggae and sound system culture with Aswad being my first memorable gig in the same year then went to most of the reggae events that were happening in London from late 80’s onwards. When Brexit unfolded I returned to my roots in Malta in 2017 and started attending local reggae events and getting to know the local scene which had grown significantly since I left it some 30 years before.
DJing didn't start until late for me, but as I had the reggae knowledge and reggaemylithis in my blood, it was an easy road that led me to start DJing regularly in local venues with my highlight being playing at Marley Fest 2020. Corona threatened to stop my Zion train,but it did not derail it.
