Lanzel Smith Jr. (born November 27, 1995), better known by his stage name The Adventures of DJ Zel, is a millennial renaissance man, multi-instrumentalist and producer. Zel has collaborated with industry greats such as, Shaggy, QQ, Burna Boy, Linky First, Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert, PNB Rock, just to name a few. Jazz guitar, Zel combines the sounds of the Caribbean and Africa with Afrobeat-based rhythms with a dancehall/pop vocal styling. When Zel’s not DJing or in the studio, he is a barber, host, cinematographer, graphic designer, animator and brother of Alpha Phi Alpha, Fraternity Inc.
