rap music that is lo-fi, unmastered, static-laden, has the vocals completely obscured in the mix, or any combination thereof. Sometimes it's a stylistic choice, sometimes it's just due to available equipment, sometimes both. Some of these tracks really just barely fit the criteria and might only have part of the song be truly "static" but hey I'm nothing if not inconsistent. Think of this mix like tuning across a weird radio that only receives bizzaro hip hop stations for some reason. Or something like that idk man enjoy
