With his amapiano sound he has been able to perform at various events such as Tribes and Pianoland in addition to Vigro Deep, Majorleague DJz and more. He pioneered the amapiano sound internationally in Baku, Azerbaijan and Willemstad, Curaçao.
His interest in the amapiano and afro-house scene arose from his Surinamese roots. The Western rhythms are too 'flat' in his opinion, in contrast to African rhythms, which make extensive use of percussions that give the music an organic feel. This organic feeling ensures that the audience cannot stand still. He describes the energy of the people who are present at the parties where he plays as 'You feel free in the choice of dance, fashion and other forms of self-expression.”
