Steven A. Cruz, aka ”DJ Masterplan”, is a native of the Bronx, NY, and is widely known for his versatility and eclectic blends of various genres, such as dance, pop, electronica, house, and classic 80s and 90s dance hits. He is widely recognized throughout the New York City house and electronic scenes, spinning at various lounges and major night clubs since the age of 19. Currently, he is a graduating senior at the City College of New York, where he is an elite radio DJ at WCCR 590 am: City College Radio. His first major mixtape, entitled “Let’s F#@king Dance!” is set to be released in early February 2012.

Inspired by DJs such as AM, Vice, Jazzy Jeff, A-Trak, Craze, Mix Master Mike, Premier, and Roc Raida, DJ Masterplan can be seen showcasing a style similar to that of his favorite DJs.
