"My favorite tunes all come from different artists and labels. I go track by track - I seek enlivening rhythms, 16 or 32-count melodies and basslines... I try to keep two records playing at the same time for as long as possible. I love adding half-time hip hop mixes. What matters is what comes out of the speakers. And what comes out of the speakers seems to inspire everyone to dance like mad, and that’s what I’m there for!"
