Fa has been playing other people’s music since purchasing his first Cassingle back in 1993: M People’s Moving On Up. 20 years later, he is the architect of Melbourne’s Bass Cartel.
Originally from NZ, 2001 saw Fa begin playing at Wellington's clubs. Upon arrival in Melbourne 2003, his shrewd ability to make torpid sloths rise from their rump and join the dance floor has seen him become guest, as well as host, to many regular events throughout Melbourne’s club scene, venues include Howler, Lounge, Laundry, Section8, Loop Black Cat, The Workshop, ESPY, Brown Alley, EFiftyFive, Croft’s Institute, & more.
Although he has fingers in numerous genre pots, including Bass, Glitch, Indie Dance, House, Min Tech, and Dubstep, his passion for the last eleven years resides in Drum and Bass, and his collection and knowledge of the genre is commensurate with his adept style and apt selection.
