Dr Fly has been DJ’ing for over 15 years in and around Bristol, Boston, Cambridge, London and Brighton playing alongside artists such as J Majik, BCEE, Randomer, The Insiders, Dr Meaker, Ed Solo, Dub police, Subscape, Gemmy, Bass Clef, Deekline, A-Skillz, Evil Nine, Freak Nasty, ID, Baobinga, Cut la Roc, Atomic Hooligan, Rennie Pilgrem, General Midi, Afghan Headspin, Jinx in Dub, Hexadecimal, Dave Angel, Jamie Anderson and DJ Derek reflecting his broad taste in dance music mixing Drum and Bass, Dubstep, Breaks, House and Hip Hop.
The same musical philosophy permeates Bass Kitchen, the amazingly successful night in Bristol at Tb2 first Friday of the month. This led to Bass Kitchen being awarded ‘Best Small Club / Event’ award at Breakspoll. In 2009 Dr Fly ran the Chemical Records DJ competition and has been involved in various other musical projects such as the Boston Typewriter orchestra (http://www.bostontypewriterorchestra.com/) and DJing various festivals such as Shambala.
