Started Dj-ing @ 16 , with 2 old cd players & an amplifier.:P
Soon after that bought my first set of (belt-drive) BST turntables.
Cause i think starting @ the bottom of the ladder is the right way.
Bought my set of Technics @ 18, and am hooked on vinyl eversince.:) @ the moment experimenting with Traktor scratch pro 2,with digital mixer, as addition to my sets...My preference goes out to a broad spectrum of Techno Variations but i also spin
Drum & Bass & Hip-Hop....together with dj 's Wouter de Witte (Maligne) and dj Dopey, we funded TKZ (Techno Kollektief Zwolle)
and since 2009 we have organised numerous Techno Parties in & around Zwolle.....
@ the moment the Dark-Tech genre, and the Birmingham,Spanish & Slavic (offbeat) Techno sound are a few of my favourites, but, lately been spinning alot of techno from around the year 2000, where IMO the essence of Techno lies...
