DJ Timbomatic began his career in 1978 spinning vinyl at Adelaide’s Playboy Disco and Rollerdrome in Hindmarsh. With a sharp ear and crowd-savvy instincts, he quickly made a name in South Australia’s nightlife. As disco fever hit, he pioneered mobile discos with Spinners Mobile Disco, touring SA and bringing high-energy parties to local halls and events.

In the early ‘80s, he moved to New South Wales, where he performed and MC’d weddings for over 20 years. He also became a Friday night regular at Macarthur Park and played in clubs throughout the region. In the ‘90s, he brought his signature sound to BOOM! Nightclub.

After a break, Timbomatic returned in the 2000s to light up pubs and clubs with his genre-blending style, mixing Pop, Country, Dance, Rock, and RnB from the '80s to now. Recently, he rocked the 2025 Dam to Dam after-party in Kununurra and looks forward to many more unforgettable nights behind the decks.
