Eric 'DJ Spin' Abad was born in Los Angeles, CA in 1986. At the age of 11, his older brother hired a DJ for a party. "I remember the DJ showing up a few hours before the party to drop off his equipment, it was my opportunity to be a nosey little kid and scope out the gear". Spin knew this was what he wanted to do, he wanted to be a DJ. Eric began to save money and at the age of 13 got his first setup and was given the name DJ Spin. In the summer of ‘02, Spin got the opportunity to go to the Power 106 Studio in Burbank, CA. ‘After watching Mr. Choc in the mix, I realized that I needed to drop the cd players and get some turntables. Spin worked hard and began making a name for himself in the local party scene and landed his first club in Hollywood at age 17 and eventually found his way south of the border to some hotspots in Tijuana and Rosarito Mexico.
Recently Spin dusted off his tables and made what friends and family call “a long awaited return.” spin_dj@live.com for bookings.
