Coming from Kensal Rise/ London I was a destructive child, and was given the nickname Smasha by one of the elders which stuck to me like glue. I was brought up around music. My oldest brother had a sound system called Justice Hi-Fi which is where my love for music started. I always wanted to go when he was playing out, but being the youngest in the family I wasn't aloud. I started sneaking out when I was 14 to rave. I will always remember going to a club called Moonshine when I was around 15, and heard MasterMind Roadshow, I got involved with them in the early 90's as an MC, but always wanted to DJ. So started getting more involved in the DJ side in the last few years, which is what I'm more focused on now. So here's to my new chapter.
