About: DJ Shabir
Sechaba Ngwenya (born on 10th December 1986) better known by his stage name Shabir is a South African DJ originally from Soweto.
Shabir stepped into the world of deejaying, in the year 2000 and since then has gone from strength to strength.
Shabir studied Live Sound Engineering, it is through his studies that he has been able to deepen his overall knowledge and develop his skills not only through practical’s but also theory.
He's also been fortunate to have worked respected DJ's, likes of Black Coffee, Dj Sbu, Dj Tira, Dj Fresca to name a few.He’s been a resident deejay at Sedibeng Pub (Meadowlands), Panyaza 707 (White City), Tsalanang Pub(Braamfischer) and at Unpluggd Events in Soweto. He’s also no stranger to other venues around South Africa. He is the man behind the annual shakedown experience party and owner of RockSolid Ent.
