Born at free festivals, dropping bursts of spoken word & sound effects on vinyl to accompany instrumental drum & bass live sets by Uncontrolled Substance, Random Panik branched out into eclectic sets that reached from punk to chanson & lounge via music hall, techno, psychedelic pop, atonal noise & ambient noodling & anything interesting that came to hand - including more of those spoken word & SFX vinyls, whenever the instrumental passages were going on a bit too long. Regular sets at the Foundry in Shoreditch led to a career-defining gig in Siberia - after which Random Panik felt there was nowhere left to go and retired. Hunted down to the leafy suburbs of East London, he's been convinced to return and now produces his first radio show, The Meander Loop, which goes out several times a week on www.hspark.co.uk
