Born in Detroit, House DJ and techno producer DJ Steve Ra has been in the industry for just under 20 years. Having performed alongside numerous DJ’s and producers and vocalists. As a DJ, Ra has spun over the years at many underground , house and techno parties and also clubs Motor Lounge, Sky Bar, State Theatre, Clutch Cargo's, Forans, The Works, Numbers,The Old Music Institute 1315 Broadway, The Metroplex Booth inside the D.E.M.F ,The CPop Stage with UFM , 25th Anniversary of Metroplex at the Car Center,Token Lounge, and many Underground parties such as The Theatre, The Firehouse, Bagley Optical,The Bankle, The Old Music Institute 1315 Broadway, Berts Grocer and many more to name.
Ra felt spinning records was not enough to feed his hunger so he took on producing. His developing style has that Old Skool Detroit Classic Sound mixed with driving beats anywhere from tribal to experimental elements of the new within the genres of house and techno.r
