ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY BIOGRAPHY
Roach, a.k.a. DjRoach, a.k.a. MrRoach started his musical journey at the age of 9. Back then he was known to friends and family as DJ RMD MC.
He started like most dj's playing for family parties, then progressed to playing mobile parties with various mobile crews. Thereafter worked as a roadie/dj from the age of 16 for dance/langarm band Feedback. He stopped playing for a period to pursue a career in local government.
After a 10 year break he started playing again, firstly for private parties then for corporate clients. He has since played at Inside Lounge, Picasso Lounge, Reds Cafe, Pig and Swizzle, Cafe Sofia, Vegas Lounge and Cybar to name but a few places.
He has been the host dj for the best of ekapa which takes place every thursday evening at the Purple Turtle in Cape Town, at the same venue upstairs you can find him on a friday afternoon rocking the sundowners crowd. He helped dj realRozzano rock the Out the Box festival...
