A true New York City in every sense of the word, DJ RKNY has a very diverse background when it comes to his musical journey. as a child he was exposed to music from Julio Jaramillo to Menudo, He the was introduced to Hip Hop @ age 10 and Freestyle in Middle School. However his true calling came at Age 17 when he began to work for a local Mobile & Club DJ in his neighborhood of Woodside. There he evolved to loving the art of DJing and Remixing came just a few years ago in 2009 when he just wanted to explore his talent.

DJ RKNY has worked on Radio (College & Internet) and even as a journalist on Print and Internet (The Bridge LaGuardia/CUNY News Magazine & LaRitmo.com.

These days he can be found promoting all types of Business for the DJ & Artist thru his company Phase 2 Productions.
