At age 5 I had my first plastic record player. When my parents had house parties I was in charge of changing the records on their stereo. In grade school I was collecting vinyl records. My mother took me to the record store to get one 45 record a week and in 6th grade I was the one student who brought records to play on Friday "art day.". By jr high I had so many records and went through many plastic record players. I loved music and radio! By 10th/11th grade , I went to my first 18 and under disco. When I heard the dj mixing the songs, it was then I knew I wanted to be a dj and do the same thing.
Age 20 I played in my first night club and from there I played in clubs throughout Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. I was the only female dj in my area at the time. My dream I had as a young girl came true! My love for dance, club and house music still lives on in a now digital world where I am DJ RENEE!
