I’m Quentin Arendse aka DJQ
I’ve started DJing in 1987 as a mobile DJ honing my mixing skills on SL1200 turntables. I’ve been collecting vinyls, cd’s, mp3’s ever since with the finest selections from Disco, Funk and Deep House, Nu Disco, House. I have a vast collection so I can easily adapt to any genre if required.
DJ Residency at Striped Horse Kloof Street 2018-2022 on Friday’s called Friday Feels 2 years and a bit. I DJ’d at Striped Horse Muizenberg on Friday/Saturday nights. Had gigs at Decodance Woodstock. Residency at Escapé Tapas Bar in Marina Da Gama 2018-2020 for all their events – First Thursdays 2019, Day of the Dead 2019, Escapés 1st Birthday Bash 2019, NYE 2018-2019, Escapé Sundays 2019-2020. Now closed due to Covid-19 unfortunately. Also did Summer to Autum stint at Frank's Coffee & Bagel. Frank's Vinyl Fridays and Frank's Friday Feels.
