“Born in Suriname and raised in a musical family, I began mixing at the age of 9, using cassette tapes to bring joy to friends at their birthday parties. My father’s backyard studio, which became a hub for the Surinamese community, introduced me to the world of live recording and mixing with both local and international bands, my younger brother’s love for producing house music reignited my passion for DJing.

As DJPOLL, I now blend Afro-house and tech-house tracks into harmonic journeys. My goal is to share the magic of these amazing artists and producers with family, friends, and music lovers worldwide.
