DJ Pleasures was born and raised in Oxnard, California. He started DJing at the age of 13, when he contracted his first gig at a pool hall called "The Hollywood Club" in downtown Oxnard and his junior high school dances. DJ Pleasures’ influences growing up were DJ Battlecat, DJ Melo-D, Richard "Humpty" Vission, DJ E-Man and HT. His DJ style and Genres are Hip-hop, R&B, Flashbacks, Old School & House Music.

Over the years, DJ Pleasures hosted his own online mix show for Las Vegas' SWURVRadio.com called "The G-Spot". After online radio he made his FM Radio debut when he started a radio station with his radio mentor Danny G, bringing the Antelope Valley and high deserts its first Hip-hop, R&B radio station called KRAJ 100.9 FM "The Heat". His duties were morning show co-host, on-air mixer, music director and mix show coordinator. DJ Pleasures is currently on The High Deserts KDUC 94.3 FM & 102.5 FM "The Duck".
