DJ PK1 Bio

DJ PK 1, “The Preachers Kid” is originally from the Chicagoland Area. He accepted his gift of music at the age of 5 as a drummer and pianist. At the age of 19, PK was given a unique opportunity to attend school in Havana, Cuba where he continued to grow and develop as a DJ, musician, and producer. After 5 years, PK decided to come back to America and incorporate his experiences into his music. Joining his family in Louisiana 2-weeks prior to Hurricane Katrina, PK continues to reside in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

PK 1 is one of the most versatile DJ’s of his era because of his abilities to adapt to any crowd, control his audience, and create exclusive mind - blowing mixes. He uses music as a universal language to inspire and link different age groups, cultures, and walks-of-life under the sound of two turntables.
