I started DJ'ing with my friends back in 1985! We used to do house parties and events in the Bay Area. I stopped around 1994. Carrying all those crates of records around, missing records when my set was about to start and thoughts of not being able to make a living off of music led me to stop and get "serious" in life. Fast forward years later I find myself drawn to spinning again. I've realized how much i've missed it and how it's always been a passion of mine. Since i've had a career in technology, the advances in technology for DJ's is one of the reasons why I was drawn back. I can now carry my music on a usb drive instead of crates! Which still blows my mind. With my career almost drawing to close (retirement) and my kids are grown I decided to go back to what I love doing. I'm planning to expand in different music genres I hope you join me on this journey!
My inspriation comes from DJ's:
Cash Money, Joe Cooley, Jazzy Jeff, Q-Bert, Shortkut, Mix Master Mike, Roc Raida, Spintronix.
