The scene in the late 90's is where my love of music expanded from mainstream to electronic. Most weekends from start to finish revolved around raves, afterparties, and more music. I was asked to spin when no one else wanted too. I bought my Technics following that experience. DNB on vinyl till life happened. Single dad, at 23, my son was 14 months. My life shifted from young and carefree to adulting over night. Electronic music never left but I had to rebuild my life from the ashes. Now 20 years later, something was always missing and it took me that long figure it out. I bought a DJ controller with the intention of making mixes. My music taste has shifted from DNB to digital progressive house/trance, techno back to vinyl only DnB. Mostly looking for smooth transitions, blending, and groove. I want my mixes to tell a story from beginning to end.
