Welcome to The Needle Exchange with your host DJ Nacht Nurse! Rooted in NYC's underground music scenes (ABC No Rio, Riot Grrrl) and independent music labels (Moon Ska Records, Jive Records), Nacht Nurse digs deep into her crates of vinyl for sounds spanning freestyle, boom bap, dancehall, dub, electro, electronica, post/punk, breakbeat and beyond. Each two-hour infusion is a carefully curated trip through NYC’s sonic DNA, delivered by a nurse who knows that the right dose, straight to the vein, can elevate any listener's mood.
