DJ Musikdawg started his professional musical journey nearly 20 years ago, spinning early 90’s vinyl at birthday parties and after-school events as a teen in New Jersey. While studying music business at college and working more than 10 years for record labels of Sony and EMI Music, he continued to amass an enormous record collection, while soaking up music at his fingertips at mega-clubs in NYC. Over the years, as music formats changed, first CD’s and then transitioning to greater mobility through laptop spinning, DJ Musikdawg’s love of dance became an obsession. He enjoys playing everything from Mainstream Top 40 to Electro, Funky & Progressive House, but always keeping the focus on bringing a melody to the room. Whether it’s playing “hot-off-the-presses” tracks or spotlighting anthems from yesterday, DJ Musikdawg wants to celebrate the music that will get you on the dance floor.
