MUDDY (Will Soans) is a House DJ/Producer/Stand-Up/Extra from NW London, with a science degree from Cambridge University. His love for left-field electronica like Air & Coldcut was inspired by a compilation made by Saul Budd’s older brother, in the 1990s.
MUDDY's played piano since age 5 & picked up an acoustic guitar 15 years ago. Expression is the antidote to depression, he relays “the message” - in dance music.
Notable collabs are with guitarist, Ben Smith; singer, Rosie Harborne, & Key Changes producers: Dan Clarke, Jasper Wilde, Jordy Haynes, David Corney, Josh Curtis & Ronan Morrissey.
MUDDY got his first decks in 2001. DJ lessons at LSA, Camden prompted buying new mixers: a DJM-450 for his vinyls & an DDJ-FLX4 to operate digital files in Rekordbox; looping, cueing & mixing like CDJs.
MUDDY performed Stand-Up at The Comedy Store & Tartu 2024 & is singing & rapping at Key Changes open-mics & festival shows.
He's written his first book.
