DJ Mothra began spinning Industrial, Electronic, and Hardcore music for others on WDJM at Framingham State College in 1990, then moving on to WMUA at UMass Amherst. Soon after he became a resident DJ at the infamous Manray in Cambridge for events such as Hell, Fantasy Factory, Crypt (in the front room), and XMortis. In 1996 he co-founded the event Ceremony in Boston, helping to build the unique New England Goth/Industrial scene. Ceremony became the longest continuous Goth/Industrial event in New England. Other noteworthy gigs include Convergence, Dracula's Ball, Dracula's Bowl, Black Sun Festival, Eccentrik Festival, plus frequent visits to other regular events like Plague (Portland, MA), Haven (Northampton, MA), and many more. He did a terrible job retiring in 2010, and can still be found spinning at clubs around New England, and awkwardly writing about himself in the third person.
