MARY FREE (real name Marica Salfi) is an Italian DJ and producer, originally from Rome and raised in Sicily. Her artistic journey began 13 years ago in the lively clubbing scene of Catania, where she established herself with a refined and energetic house sound.
After successfully performing in clubs in Brescia and Milan, MARY FREE expanded her musical language by approaching tech house and starting her first productions, experimenting with innovative sounds and developing a distinctive sound identity.
In 2017 she moved to the United Kingdom, in Birmingham, where she became part of the local underground scene, performing regularly at the well-known club Suki10c. It is in this context that she further evolved, approaching progressive house and building a solid reputation as a versatile and constantly evolving artist.
In recent years, her artistic research has led her towards groove techno, a genre that today characterizes her sets and productions.
