Born and raised in Chicago, DJ LTH, AKA Lemont Harris, started his musical journey when he was 16, when he was surrounded by Chicago based DJS. It was at this moment that Lemont Harris knew he wanted to be part of ‘The Scene’.

He first became interested in the “House” music scene in 1997, when he started as a house music producer. In 1999 he bought his first DJ setup and started practicing daily to perfect his craft. In 2003, DJ LTH moved to Florida where he put his practice to work with his first gig in Florida doing a Latin party. What a twist he can’t speak Spanish at all but was always told never to say no. As time went on, he started doing numerous open format parties. In 2008, he started out mentoring and teaching 1 DJ and within a few months had a total of 4. He was trying to keep kids off the streets and give them something constructive to do. In 2009, he started a DJ crew called “Lockdown DJ’S” where he and the other DJ’s that he taught were included. His only requirements we
