This well regarded DJ of groove combines a number of influences, from funky house to acid jazz, from euphoric house rhythms to dreamy downtempo vibes, from electro house and more experimental electronic music and street rhythms. He began DJing in 1988 in underground San Diego parties, clubs and additionally formed D.J. K Productions. Over the following five years he would involve himself in the beginnings of what is now considered the quintessential rave scene (vacated warehouses and Indian reservations). Taking a few years off to develop other talents in the music business, D.J. K put in his time with Universal(Interscope, MCA, GRP, Geffen) distribution, managing a nine piece band and getting back to basics with his love for the DJing craft.
