I've been DJing since 1988 when my good friend Jose' DeJesus convinced me to buy a pair of raggedy Gemini turntables, a few pieces of vinyl and a mixer. Technique 1200's soon replaced those! What started out as a journey into spinning House and Hip-Hop has evolved into the depths of EDM. Don't get me wrong, I still love Old School Hip-Hop, but I have an equal love is for dance music. It puts me in another world. People used to look at me like I had three heads if I would play a track that (God Forbid!) had no words. Now, that mindset has changed thankfully. Let's see where dance music goes from here. Will it become mainstream, even more than it has? In a way, I'm hoping not. So many have already jumped onto the EDM bandwagon when there isn't that deap-seated love for the music. Hopefully, you'll agree that my mixes show a passion for real dance music though. I'll try to put up some Old School Hip-Hop sets too. Gotta break out the wheels of steel for that though!
