After a 9-year hiatus, Kamu Kamu has made a powerful return to the DJ scene with a renewed focus on Afrocentric sounds, blending Western electronic genres with tribal and indigenous influences. His music is a celebration of diversity, symbolized by his name, derived from the ancient Luganda proverb “Kamu Kamu gwe muganda.” meaning “One by One makes a bundle.” This proverb encapsulates his mission of bringing people and cultures together, one track at a time.
