Japanese born, California raised DJ KAKU boasts musical and artistic influences that span the width of the Pacific and two continents. With roots in hip-hop, KAKU began his venture into EDM (Electronic Dance Music) 6 years ago building a reputation as one of the I Bay Area's best party rocking DJs. After solidifying his position, KAKU was invited back to Asia in 2010, where he took up residency at Taipei’s #1 club SPARK 101 and Marquee Taipei shortly thereafter. With recent highlights including feature sets with Johnnie Walker Jet Black Singapore, Hennessy Artistry Taipei, and playing alongside renowned dutch house master Sidney Samson & the electro duo Bassjackers. KAKU's high-octane sets consist of Electro, Progressive, Big Room, Dutch, House, Dubstep, and Future Trap with a heavy influence of musical icons such as Tiesto, Hardwell, Nicky Romero, Diplo & Laidback Luke.
