In September of 1988 DJ Johnny Mambo bought his first mixer and a pair of Gemini beltdrive turntables. "I remember buying those turntables and the first record I bought was Eric B & Rakim's - Eric B for President." He began doin' block parties, High School cut out jams, beach parties (brighton beach), and tons of house parties.
