One of Toronto’s most versatile and talented DJ;
DJ Jimmy Suave was born on June 11 in Santa Ana, El
Salvador. Shortly after moving to Toronto in 1992, Jimmy followed in his uncle’s footsteps (also a DJ) and assisted him to play
while growing up. His love for music deepened and has become his second nature. To date, Jimmy has over 10 years of
playing professionally. Within that time frame, he worked for prominent DJ companies and also attended
Scratch Lab DJ Institute, one of Toronto’s DJ schools to further develop the art and complexities of the turntable.
Currently, DJ Jimmy Suave plays in many of the GTA’s well known nightclubs and although he is mainly known as a Latin DJ,
he also has an immense knowledge in all the different music genres while bringing new music to the table each time. Some
of his work has been broadcast on national television, while on shows like “Rich Bride, Poor Bride” and has even appeared in
international festivals
