Jay got into Hardcore in 1999 whilst working on Clacton Pier. Back then he was addicted to the bouncy Happy Hardcore tunes such as Heart of Gold and Shooting Star. It wasn’t long before he attended his first event, Dreamscape.
A couple of his mates who Jay attended events with had been DJing for some time, he often used to watch with amazement at the skill and technique when mixing tracks. When one of his mates wanted to sell his decks and mixer Jay immediately snapped them up! And brought his first batch of vinyl shortly afterwards. Jay Disturbance was born!
Within a year Jay played his first set out at Hardcore Shenanigans and has since gone on to play at Summit, Raindance, HTID vs Uproar and secure a residency at X-Treme Energy pre-party's. 2012 sees Jay hitting the main stage at HTID in the Sun and begining the next step in is Dj Career, production!
