For any fan of House and Electronic music growing up on the Jersey Shore in the mid 90's and a short train ride from NYC was a true blessing for Jason Paul. The club scene was amazing in this era in the big apple and the music was at it's best. Top jocks in these mega dance clubs like Danny Tenaglia, Jr. Vasquez, Victor Calderone, Johnny Vicious, Eddie Baez and Jonathan Peters were the ones rocking it steady in clubs like Vinyl, Tunnel, Limelight, Exit, Sound Factory and Twilo proved to be hugely influential for a young and excited Jason Paul. He began attending multiple events and hanging around these mega nightclubs just to watch these well respected jocks work the mix. Jason Paul spent hours watching and listening so he could to educate himself about what DJing was really about. By watching the best work it in their prime he learned that it wasn’t merely a job of seamlessly mixing records back to back.
