Can House be even more Minimal? Yes it can. In the form of Micro House! It's so Minimal that it's left with nothing else but just beats. Minimal House can be said to be House that is so bare it has nothing but just the framework of House. Micro House goes even further by stripping the framework of House until it's nothing but it's foundation. The analogy can be literal to physical houses if for no other reason than as to see what Micro House is! So we have long stretches of just beats. A smattering of a bassline or other elements of music can be heard coming in. Sometimes you have tracks that are the flipside of Micro House, not opposite of Micro House, as there is not any long stretches of all elements of a track without beats. If so, that is called something else. Instead, we have long stretches of repetitive looping of the same bassline. To be musical, the beats, rhythm, and or sequencing changes several times to go along with the repeating bassline. Very tantric, indeed!
