Had the privilege of “being there” in halcyon days of the early US rave scene at ground zero - Orlando, FL. Why would this small town be ground zero? Well, our amazing DJs and promoters were ahead of their time starting with Kimball Collins at Aahz playing the most upfront dance music that was only found across the pond, mixed expertly in our clubs here to the wee hours of the morning. If you were there, you know. Aahz spawned a host of iconic clubs including Firestone, The Edge, They Abyss, Barberella, Marz and on and on. Huge one off raves fast followed bringing more global talent to our dancing city, and musical history that everyone that lived will certainly “Rave” about for the rest of their lives.
