Gerard Groove is originally from Sri Lanka but has made his roots in Los Angeles, California. With a developed passion for music at a young age, Gerard has a love for all music genres but his biggest top three influences upon embarking the house music scene were, Mark Knight, Carl Cox, and Umek, to name a few. Gerard’s specialty lies in House Music and more specifically Tech House. Gerard initially started hosting and DJing after hour events with other LA DJ's in his Crew called "High Decibel". Gerard has had the pleasure of spinning at many venues and events across Southern California. Some of the most prolific have been “Utopia Festival” and sharing the stage with Felix The House Cat. Other events include “Massive Love Festival” both with were held at the Fox Theater in Pomona, CA. residency at Good Vibe Tribe's "Brunch & Beats" Party at Pattern Bar in Downtown Los Angeles, and making his debut on the main stage at the World Famous Exchange LA.
