I love funky music, and have fun making playlists of dope tunes from around the world.
I dig all kinds of world grooves as long as there is a lot of percussion, deep drums, groovin' bass, bold brass, swing & soul. Salsa, Samba, Soukous, Afrobeat, Reggae, in addition to just good old funky American music (old & new).
I like genre bending hybrids too and the melding of the traditional with the electronic (as long as there are more live instruments than electro).
Jazz music is also very important to me, and as I keep getting deeper into it I love it more.
