"Elegant disco house" is how to define the sessions from Gallart (Joseph, '85).
From an early age he was enamored with the funk and disco music of the
70's, especially the sound of Philadelphia.
Gallart lives in Barcelona where he has had many great DJ mentors, such as
Pep Garces, Kanedo, and Khat, each contributing a great deal of value and knowledge in their respective musical styles.
In 2021 Gallart participated in a DJ contest at the Plastic Academy (the leading DJ academy in Spain) where he was evaluated on technique, preparation, and musical selection. Gallart -- with his characteristic musical style and using mixes of producers/DJs like Dave Lee, The Shapeshifters, Dimitri from Paris, and Purple Disco Machine, among others -- won the music contest.
Gallart is constantly seeking to redefine house with wind and bass instruments of disco and funk music, establishing his own musical style.
